Paris is an important center of commerce, fashion, science, and the arts. Paris is known for breads. Paris Baguette is most famous bakery in the world. Also, Paris is known for The Seine River. It is a 776 km long river and an important commercial waterway within the Paris Basin in the north of France. Notre Dame de Paris is a famous place in Paris. It is a historic religious cathedral in the fourth arrondissement of Paris.
The Louvre is a famous Paris museum. It is one of the world’s largest museums and a historic monument. It is located in a central landmark of Paris on the right bank of the Seine. It opened on 40 August, 1793. Nearly 35,000 objects from prehistory to the 21st century are exhibited over an area of 60,600 square meters. The Louvre is the world's most visited museum, and received more than 9.7 million visitors in 2012.[
Montmartre is a hill in the north of Paris. It is a height of about 130 meters. It is located in the 18th arrondissement, a part of the right bank of the Seine. The word Montmarte is translated to mean “mountain of the martyr”. Montmartre has long been known as the premier artist’s enclave in the city. It also is primarilly known for the white-domed Busilica of the Sacre Coeur on its summit and as a nightclub district. Archeological excavations show that the heights of Montmartre was occupied from at least Gallo-Roman times.
